 I started at Pure Motivation Fitness as an overweight beer and wings three times a week kind of guy.  Knowing how to eat well was non-existent. It also didn’t help being in a trade with a lot of out of town work and overnights where take-out becomes your best friend. 

I’ve joined a handful of gyms in the past in hopes of losing my beer belly and the extra weight I put on from college.  But not one of those gyms has actually showed interest in me or my goals; just saw me as a monthly payment.  Then my brother told me about PMF! 

 When I walked in to talk to Dimitri about a membership it really surprised me that he actually wanted to know my goals and made a meal plan specifically for me!  What I really enjoy about PMF is what a great atmosphere it has, all the trainers are there to help to you and everyone knows your name. 

 
Since I’ve been working out at PMF and working with Joanna I have lost 16 pounds, lost inches off my waist and it has forced me to buy new pants and punching more holes in my belt.  Surprisingly, a female can actually kick my ass!
Since starting, I have had more energy throughout the day, learned to pack a proper lunch for myself and if I need to eat out I pick the right choices.
It is also a great feeling to hear friends, family and colleagues who make fun of my beer gut to say I am looking great and please don’t ever go back to the way you were before.
