I basically started ice skating before running (not literally) but I have been skating and playing ice hockey since the age of four. Since finding my passion for sports around the age of 10, my parents signed me up for competitive soccer and football whilst balancing competitive hockey. By the age of 13, I was ranked as the #1 hockey goalie in Quebec and maintained that #1 position until the age of 16. My soccer and football teams were always in the top 3 best teams. My dreams of playing pro hockey quickly dissolved when I was presented with a herniated disc injury forcing me to quit all sports and commence rehab. Shortly after rehab, I was introduced to strength and hypertrophy training.
I believe being introduced to sports at a young age is one of the greatest disciplines a young boy/girl can learn. Not only must you focus intensely on having fun and improving yourself every day, but you must also be willing to pay the price of sacrifice, pain, bad days and those awesome days. I am a firm believer in “teamwork makes the dream work”. I know it’s cliche, but there really is no “I” in Team. Without a supportive and strong bond to those closest to you, whether that’s a teammate, co-worker, friends or family, knowing you can succeed as a team, and everyone benefits from the joy is what creates an unforgiving amount of happiness and discipline. That’s why the same type of discipline, time management and dedication that’s required in fitness often helps create the daily routines and hard work needed to be successful in all aspects of life.
If you are a team-player, we will get along great! I strive to help you succeed and achieve your “impossible” goals. With my experience and knowledge in sports and hypertrophy training, I will ultimately help you pack on muscle, lose weight and/or excel in your chosen sport! I’m a coach who’s dedicated with tons of experience, energy, and discipline. Bad days are all mental, and yes, some days may be a little more tough than the previous day, but you must show gratitude for everything you have achieved so far.
Small steps = Big results. Let’s take it one day at a time and build the 2.0 version you!
