THE PURE Motivation Promise

We are working hard to prepare our Boutique Fitness Studio for re-opening and are confident, prepared and proud to announce our “PURE Promise” to you! This new Standard of policies, practices and reopening guidelines will ensure the safety and health of our Members, Staff & Community going forward.

While many of us are still practicing physical distancing we will be resuming to provide our amazing and motivational Body Type Specific Cross Training Programs and will be able to guarantee you even more safety, less volume of members per class with our Semi Private Training (up to 6 people per class) workouts, health and fitness content and resources and online training to keep you healthy and fit!

CONTACTLESS STUDIO ENTRY

PRE ENTRY

Prior to entering the studio members must cooperatively wait in line by the 6-feet distanced markers on the ground.  The doors will be slightly opened to reduce touchpoints or members may use the accessible door switch using their forearm or elbow

PRE SANITIZE

Everyone entering the studio WILL be required to fully sanitize their hands upon entry & exit. Remove ALL outdoor shoes and store away.  Indoor shoes MUST be worn in studio or entity is denied.  We do not want outdoor shoes worn inside or on the turf post COVID-19

MEMBER SAFETY WEAR ENCOURAGED

Members are encouraged to bring their own personal masks if they wish to wear one and/or protective gloves. This will not be Mandatory by PMF but encouraged as we understand that it can be hard to breathe through the masks during heavy heart rates

STAFF SAFETY WEAR

PMF staff will have protective face shields and provided masks and gloves provided to them

TEMPERATURE CHECK-INS

MEMBERS

PMF Reception staff will check their own class participants’ forehead temp prior to entry and ANY/ALL members showing high temperature will be asked to wait in the entrance for 2 min to recheck.  If the temp is still above normal standards 37.9C they will not be allowed to exercise.

STAFF

ALL PMF Staff will have their own temperature taken upon each shift to ensure there is no potential threat to members entering

HANG TIGHT

Once an individual is checked-in, they are to remain in the social area and off of the training floors until their Pre-Session Health clearance is complete

PRE - BOOKING ALL STUDIO APPTS

PRE BOOKING

Independent Access, Semi-Private Coaching Classes & All 1on1 & 2on1 Private Training members will need to pre-book or else entry will not be permitted.  This is being done to ensure no overbooking of members per hour,  to meet the min members per occupancy standards set by the provincial government and for the studio and staff to lessen the spread of any virus’ by having a large number of bodies in the studio.

APPT BOOKING GUIDELINES

a) If you fail to show up to 2 appts per week you will lose your mobile booking privileges  
b) Failure to provide 12 h of cancelation notice for 1on1, 2on1 or Semi-Private session will result in lost appts/sessions
c) If you come in 15min past your scheduled appt you may not be able to participate in your class due to the studio allowing another person on the waitlist
d) ALL Inbody Fat Analysis scans MUST be pre-booked by a Fitness consultant or by your coach during a private coaching session.   To ensure more physical spacing in the studio the Inbody Analysis machine will be placed in the hallway or in an open area and Lysol wipes and disinfectant must be used for each and every scan.

LIMITED FACILITY ACCESS

REDUCED CLUB CAPACITY/ SERVICES/:

To ensure your safety and continue to practice safe social distancing we will have to abide by the new decreased persons per group setting guidelines set by the ONT. Gov and Team Training (classes of 10-20) will not be provided.  Even if ONT. Gov guidelines change, as a club and team we do not feel it’s safe to have 20 people in a class and sharing equipment /stations.  We will only be providing Semi-Private Classes (up to 6 if permitted), 1on1, 2on1, and Active Exercise Therapy 1on1 sessions. **We will ensure that you will be provided a specific timeframe of Semi-Private Training based on the number of your monthly dues to ensure you are able to continue to exercise regularly and PMF will contact you to see if you wish to continue with this new program or not.

AMENITIES

-Showers will currently be unavailable for use
-Hairdryers will currently be unavailable for use
Drinking Fountains will only be available to refill water bottles
Towel Service will currently be unavailable for use

CONGREGATING

As much as we know our staff and members love to spend time talking, socializing & or spending time together in the studio, change rooms and reception after each session, in an attempt to try and reduce any potential spread of any virus we are discouraging congregating together in the studio.

FREQUENT CLEANING & DISINFECTING

PRE & POST SESSION

-ALL PMF staff will have Step by Step cleaning procedures for them to follow pre and post sessions
-ALL Members WILL BE REQUIRED TO wipe down their own equipment at the end of their sessions
MEDICAL GRADE CLEANING
-Each piece of PMF plate loaded, cable pulley, power cage or cardiovascular equipment will have its own person Hospital grade Disinfectant cleaning solution

AFTER HOURS

-PMF will be enforcing increased janitorial shifts & capacity per week for all high touch point areas
-PMF will be disinfecting the entire turf section every night to ensure and protect members from use

SANITIZING PROCEDURES & STATIONS

MANDATORY SANITIZING

Clients & staff MUST use hand sanitizer upon entry into the facility and frequently throughout their session
-ouchless sanitizing stations will be provided throughout the facility with solution that kills 99.9% of bacteria being comprised of 75-80% ethyl alcohol, Aloe vera, and essential oils

SANITIZING STATIONS

 ALL HIGH traffic points of the studio will have sanitization stations located at each point of contact with either members or staff.  Upon entry, on cardiovascular and spin bikes, on all power cages, at reception, inside change rooms, at the bathroom entrance, inside the group exercise studio, in all offices/staff rooms, & by each Dumbbell rack to encourage every person in the studio to use

ANTI-BACTERIAL WIPE STATIONS

-Anti-bacterial wipes that meet the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2 will be provided in the Small Group EX Studio and throughout the entire studio
-Clients will be asked to clean equipment before and after their scheduled sessions with the provided blue grade hospital solution and paper towels.

DESIGNATED “TRAINING PODS” & TRAINING AREAS

MEMBERS

-ALL participants of ANY Semi-Private Class at PMF will be required to train and use the equipment set out for you by the coaches in private and taped off “Training Pod” areas of the group ex & Cross Training section of the studio to provide safety, much needed physical distancing and the elimination of spreading germs or risks of COVID 19. 
-There will be no sharing of equipment needed nor will there be the need to change or rotate stations as all the program design created by PMF mgmt/coaching team will allow the members to have ALL the necessary equipment needed for their pre-designed session in their designated “Training Pod”

INDEPENDENT

a) Until further notice, ALL independant exercisers (those who choose to come to the studio to train on their own) must now have to pre-book times in our MindBody App and not be able to show up unannounced to use the studio
-b) will NOT be permitted to enter the sections or areas of where any Semi-Private classes are being held for equipment use.  Independent exercisers must respect the sectioned off areas that will be permitted for use and must try their best to not crowd around, congregate or stand within 6 feet of another member’s personal space.

STAFF

Kinesthetic Cueing (touching and physically correcting form and technique) will not be permitted by any PMF staff as we want to limit the number of physical touchpoints.

CHANGE IN OPERATIONAL HOURS/SESSION TIMES

SESSIONS

-Until the ONT Gov. or PMF Mgmt feel COVID is over ALL PMF CLASSES or 1on1 sessions will be changed to 45-50min in duration to allow 10 min or thorough clean up post-session by PMF staff.  For example, sessions will go from 6:05 pm till 6:55 pm allowing from 6:56 pm to 7:05 pm clean time

HOURS OF OPERATION

-Current New Studio Hours of Operation will be:
-Mon to Friday 8am to 1pm, & 4-8pm
-Midday closure will occur for the first few months of operation from 1pm to 4pm for mid-day clean up
-Sat & Sunday 8am to 3pm, to provide ample time for full deep disinfectant and cleaning

OPENING SERVICES

-As of June 15th /20, the only services PMF will be allowed to offer its members will be Active Based Exercise Therapy (1on1) Sessions (which is sanctioned and permitted by the Ont Gov.)
-As of July 13th (anticipated phase 3 opening) PMF will be able to resume providing semi- private training classes, 1on1, 2on1 and Independent Access to its members and the public

PROTECTIVE BARRIERS AT RECEPTION

STAFF

-To ensure the safety of our staff and members we will have placed protective acrylic reception counter barriers and request that members please practice safe physical distancing when at the reception area
-Protein shakes, drinks and PMF apparel will still be available for purchase and consumption but we ask that you again please keep a safe 6 feet of physical distancing while waiting for your products or turn inline

MEMBERS

-Members will not have the access to enter or come around the reception desk area for any assistance or to access any drawers at the reception for any stowed equipment, gloves, pads ect.  They must inform the reception staff of what they need first and we will provide it to you

ADAPTED WORKOUT STRUCTURE

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

  1. All clients will perform their prescribed workouts in designated training pods or space to adhere to physical distancing guidelines.

-All clients will be able to remain 6-8 feet or more away from one another during workouts.

EQUIPMENT SHARING

All clients will be provided with a set of their own equipment necessary to perform the entire workout in their designated space
