Courtney first dipped her toes in the world of health and fitness when she was in high school, and decided to join her high school’s swim team. She swam competitively for three years, and used her training to help her endurance to become a better swimmer. After high school, Courtney started to venture more into the world of weightlifting, and more recently, powerlifting. She enjoys the rush and power you can feel by becoming stronger, and more powerful, and aspires to help others feel the same way.
Courtney realized how much strength training and working out changed her own life, paired with a passion for helping others, lead her to begin completing her diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion at Humber College, and begin her career in personal training. She has worked with a range of clients and goals; including overweight populations, shoulder and knee rehabilitation, weight loss, and strength and muscle gain. Her clients receive that individual attentiveness that is needed to ensure a positive training experience and ultimately, results. They can expect motivation and a positive energy that will help them stay dedicated and consistent to their goals, both in and out of the gym.
Courtney specializes in powerlifting, strength and conditioning, weight loss, group exercise and functional training. She believes that it is important to have a strong body and a strong mind, and that exercise is not only good for improving physical health and wellness, but mental as well, and will boost self confidence. Courtney aspires to help others feel strong, powerful, and confident in their own bodies.
